A POSRex license activates the app on your computer and is bound to that hardware. You can move it to a new computer using the in-app re-activation.

POSRex — including its source code, design, license system and all related assets — is original, proprietary software created and solely owned by its developer, and protected by copyright law. © POSRex. All rights reserved.

You are granted a limited, revocable license to use the app. You receive no ownership of, or rights to, the software itself.

Cracking, patching, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or circumventing the license system; generating, sharing, selling or using unauthorized or counterfeit license keys; or redistributing, cloning or rebranding POSRex is strictly prohibited and unlawful.

These acts infringe copyright and violate computer-misuse law. Anyone who attempts them will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law — including takedowns, immediate license and account termination, and civil lawsuit for damages and legal costs. License activity is logged, and abuse is investigated and prosecuted.

Use POSRex to run your business. Don't resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass licensing. One license is for one register unless your plan says otherwise.

POSRex updates automatically with fixes and new features. We aim for stability; if an update causes a problem, you can roll back or we'll ship a fix fast.

The app works fully offline. Cloud features depend on internet and our servers, which we keep highly available but don't guarantee 100% uptime.

POSRex is provided as-is. We work hard to protect your data, but you are responsible for keeping your own backups enabled.
