What we store
POSRex keeps your products, sales, customers and settings in a local database on your computer. If you enable Cloud Backup, an encrypted copy is stored on our servers so you can restore it.
Encryption
Sensitive data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Cloud backups are encrypted before they leave your computer — we cannot read your business data.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't track your customers across the web. License checks send only your license key and an anonymous hardware ID.
Your control
You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your local data is permanent; cloud backups are removed on request.
